Mark Palmer is an Agile Coach and Scrum Trainer with over 20 years in technology, software, and product development.

Mark has worked extensively with Fortune 100 companies, nonprofits, and government agencies in charting their courses towards business agility and guiding them on their quest to achieve “Kaizen Mind,” –an improvement culture based on transparency, inspection, and adaptation.

Mark is a Certified Team Coach (CTC), and is the founder and co-organizer of ScrumRVA, Richmond VA’s Scrum User Group.

Mark is a native Virginian, born and raised in Norfolk, VA and moved to Richmond to join a local startup in 1995. RVA has been home ever since and when not traveling and serving organizations abroad, he enjoys spending time with his family on their homestead in Powhatan, VA, and playing cajon for a local acoustic trio.
